what led you to study yoga and mind/body practices? what appealed to you?

In school I was lucky enough to have yoga as a part of our rotating weekly curriculum. I noticed a change in my dancing during the times when I was in the yoga rotation. My approach to movement became more informed, my body felt much more open and receptive and I noticed a significant decrease in injury. The approach to yoga is still different from the approach to dancing, but it was a language I understood and wished to deepen my studies. I love being able to teach a practice that is so ancient, but continues to offer new information.
